4-8-08 - Robert has exciting news!!! Artist Lee Hilliard (see "Artist Production" on this site) was the 1st prize winner ($10, 000) in the just completed 4th year of "Famecast!"
Lee, a member of the hit group "4Runner" is venturing out solo, and invited Robert to become his producer. The rest is history!!!
All of us at Robert Jason Productions are thrilled beyond belief!

"Flash'".......Robert is proud to announce that his artist Russ Murphy ("Godly Man") was just named "New Artist Of The Year" at the recent ICM Awards Show, televised live from the Acuff Theater. Congrats, Russ! In addition, Robert's co-write with Russ, "Wood and Steel" is rising quickly up the charts.

Also nominated was singer-songwriter Greg McDougal. Robert is currently producing Greg's new CD "Try A Little Kindness". This project features duets with Tammy Cochran, The Oakridge Boys, The Bellamy Brothers, Tommy Brandt, Melanie Walker, and others. Release is set for mid April. This project is a charitable "event" to raise money for Greg's foundation, "A House For My Kids" (www.ahouseformykids.com)
Greg has 3 boys under 10 afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis, and the funds collected from the sale of "Try A Little Kindness" will go towards building a pollen free, hypo-allergenic "house for his kids."

Upcoming production includes sessions with the wonderful Melanie Walker, a solo project for Lee Hilliard, tenor of the hit group 4 Runner ("Cain's Blood"), and the finishing touches on Russ Murphy's 11 song CD....title yet to be determined. Stay Tuned.

On the publishing side, Robert Jason Music is pitching songs for songwriters Debra Zemke, Rich Miller, Keith Rich and Judy Rodman.

Robert's song "She Ain't Your Ordinary Girl" (a #1 song for Alabama) was included in a musical montage used during the 2004 NCAA Women's basketball championships! In addition, the song is closing in on 2 million airplays worldwide.
